This is one of the paintings sold this past weekend, at the Beaver Point Hall Christmas Fair, here on Salt Spring Island. It’s a pity there is no before and after photo of myself, one could see the change. Unsure and nervous in the beginning, I now feel part of the community. I feel grateful for all the appreciation and the connections made here at home. I have learned so much, especially from the fellow artisans who have shown me kindness and support. Here is an image of my display, a little blurred, just like my memories.

I was thrilled to see so many people have an appreciation for classical art. It has been a very rewarding experience and even though rather exhausted, I can’t stop smiling.

  1. Wow Cristina, what a treat to wonder around your website and indulge in looking at your beautiful art. You are incredibly talented. I particularly love your ‘Pink Poppy’ and ‘White Carnation’.
You look very at ‘home’ in this photograph 🙂 It’s lovely to see!!

Wishing you all the best and I’m looking forward to seeing some more of your paintings 🙂
