Postcards from Toronto

Cloister Window - Knox College

In the heart of the city, I found places that seem frozen in time. Seated on the grass, I sketched, while tourists and wedding parties were photographed, UofT students were graduating, children were running and stumbling, balls were being chased and thrown, sometimes at me too.  Yet the trees, the flowers and the classical architecture provided shelter for the body and delight to the spirit.

  1. Cristina, your sketches are so beautiful! Sitting in the middle of all those weddings, graduations, playing children, these old buildings have rested there in stillness, watching it all
